You Make Your Own Luck

I told you this blog would get personal so here goes.

You make your own luck, yes there is such a thing of being in the right place at the right time. But its all about effort.

If you put something in you will get something back out.

For 3 years + I have worked so hard. Every single day finding my path in photography.

I spend hours each day researching, reading and looking at other photographers and artists work. Not just looking for inspiration but seeing how to do it. Thinking of what light they used or what they wanted to achieve in their image.

I'm not going to lie work is my life.

I have sacrificed my friends my social life and relationships just to do what I love.

& 

My job isn't always glamorous. In fact I'm lonely. 

I work days on end coming back to nothing but my work and my passion.

It hurts. I put my body and mind through a lot just to achieve my goals and ambitions.

I'm a lone wolf.

But Its Not All Doom and Gloom

After all the pain and effort you put in the sense of achievement is amazing.

Being able to connect people and get people talking about my work is fantastic.

Its all about pushing the boat out and doing what you love and then the rewards will start to show.

I guess the moral of this blog post is that you have to sacrifice a lot to get where you want to be in life.

But you know what, if you love it so much you will do it and you will enjoy it.

So go for it.
