Dead Weight

Going back some time now with this photo shoot in the late summer of 2013

It was a dull overcast afternoon in the midlands.

Light not great, strong sunlight and grey clouds.

But you have to adapt and use what you are given.

Here you can see the small amount of light entering from the top right corner of the frame.

I am shooting wide open at f1.8 so we have enough light to fill the foreground and light the model.

So we were doing some emotional beauty headshots & had this other concept in mind.

It was a surreal idea with the model floating away on some balloons.
